CNC Milling Machine

Classic CNC Milling Machine

The CNC Milling Machine (Computer Numerical Control Milling Machine) is a highly efficient and automated machine tool that utilizes computer programming to control the milling process for precision machining of parts made from various materials. By rotating and moving the cutting tool across a fixed workpiece, CNC milling machines can perform complex cutting, drilling, engraving, and other operations, and are widely used in metal processing, mold manufacturing, woodworking, sculpture, and other precision machining fields.

Classic’s CNC milling machines are equipped with the latest numerical control systems and software, enabling precise machining operations and complex part production. We continuously invest in technological innovation to ensure our machine tools remain leaders in speed, accuracy, and reliability.

Core Features

  • High Precision and Repeatability: With precise computer control, CNC milling machines can reproduce high-quality parts within tight tolerances repeatedly.
  • Complex Machining Capability: Capable of machining complex shapes and details, including bevels, curved surfaces, and intricate three-dimensional shapes.
  • Automated Production: Reduces manual intervention, increasing production efficiency and safety. Once programmed, the milling machine can operate unattended, even producing parts overnight.
  • Flexibility: By changing CNC programs, milling machines can easily adapt to different production needs, making them suitable for custom and small-batch production.

3 Axis CNC Milling Machine

The capability to automatically control and operate along three principal axes—X-axis (left-right movement), Y-axis (forward-backward movement), and Z-axis (up-down movement)—makes this type of milling machine suitable for performing a multitude of milling operations such as plane milling, slot milling, and contour milling.

4 Axis CNC Milling Machine

Adding a rotational axis (usually the A-axis or C-axis) on the basis of the 3-axis setup allows the workpiece to rotate without re-clamping, enabling machining on four sides. This increases the flexibility of machining, allowing for continuous processing of complex parts, including engraving and spiral groove machining.

5 Axis CNC Milling Machine

For more advanced types of milling machines, there is the capability to simultaneously control three linear axes (X, Y, Z) and two rotary axes (usually A and B axes, or C and B axes). This configuration allows the tool to approach the workpiece from nearly any direction, achieving high-precision machining of complex shapes. It minimizes the need for re-clamping the workpiece and enables multi-face machining in a single setup.
